The Kinston-Lenoir County Friends of the Library is holding its annual cruise drawing fundraiser to support a wide array of educational and entertaining library programs throughout the year. Buy a $100 ticket today for a chance to win a Caribbean cruise or $2,500. Only 100 tickets will be sold. The drawing will be held at a “Traveling Blues” party on Sunday, April 17, from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. in the Schechter Auditorium of the Kinston-Lenoir County Public Library. Entertainment at the catered reception will be provided by the Donald Thompson Band. Tickets may be purchased at the Kinston-Lenoir County Public Library or from any Friends of the Library Board member and permit entry for two at the drawing.
